Electrical Mammogram
More than $4 Billion is spent per year on mammography in the United States alone. Despite the expense, the results are not encouraging; more than 80% of the time something is found it turns out to be a false positive. It is also estimated that 10% of all cancers are missed. Mammography is even less effective in dense breasts. A suite of alternative technologies, including 3D mammography, are being employed here.
NovaScan has replaced the guts of a mammography machine with our technology that measures the Cole relaxation frequency. We then conducted a study across fifty patients that screened for breast cancer, across a diverse group of patients with dense and non-dense breasts.
Results
In an IRB Approved study of fifty patients, the NovaScan system was perfect in locating cancer, with no false positives and no false negatives, in dense and non-dense breasts.

Electrical Mammogram is an early-stage prototype device under development and is not NovaScan's lead product or a product currently targeted for commercialization.
